Student Responsibilities

Student Responsibilities

Part1

Students have the right to seize the responsibility for their own destiny and should be encouraged to do so. With every right comes responsibility!

1.   I have the responsibility to come to every class prepared to listen, to participate, and to learn.

2. I have the responsibility to read the text carefully, nothing important ideas and rephrasing concepts in my own words.

3. I have the responsibility to work examples in the textbook and those given in class.

4.  I have the responsibility to consult other students, the teacher, an assistant, and other resources whenever I need the extra help.

5.  I have the responsibility to understand that the teacher is not primarily responsible for making me understand, but that it is my job to study and to learn.

6.    I have the responsibility of keeping and open mind and trying to comprehend what the teacher is trying to get across.

Student success statement

“My basic principle is that you don’t make decision because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap; you don’t make them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re right.”

Theodore Hesburgh

Reflection: -

I agree with this statement. People shouldn't go for the easy stuff, because usually the easy stuff is the wrong way. People should work hard for what ever they want to achieve! Choose the right kids ;)♥

Student success statement

"Decisions Determine Destiny"
Thomas S. Monson

I agree with this statement, because your actions determine how your'e going to live your life. For example if you study for psychology, your'e most likely going to be a psychologist. If you commit a crime you most likely will end up in jail!>:O
So CHOOSE THE RIGHT KIDS!:D<3

Successful Students

Successful Students

Part2

4. successful students learn that students and a teacher make a team. Most teachers want exactly what you want: they would like for you to learn the material in their respective classes and learn a good grade.

Successful students reflect well on the efforts of any teacher; if you have learned your material, the instructor takes some justifiable pride in teaching. Join forces with your instructor, they are not an enemy.
